- 01
Your coverage
What your policy provides for the building, your belongings and, where it applies, additional living expenses or business income, with the limits and deductibles.
- 02
The full extent of the damage
What the loss did to the property, including damage that is easy to miss: water behind walls and under floors, smoke in rooms the damage never reached, wind damage on the roof.
- 03
The insurer’s estimate or offer
If you have one, we look at what it includes and what it may leave out, compared with the damage and your coverage.
- 04
A clear next step
Our view of where the claim stands and whether hiring a public adjuster makes sense for it. If it doesn’t, we’ll say so.

Common questions
Before you get in touch
Something else on your mind? Ask us at (704) 286-0707, day or night.
What does a public adjuster do?
A public adjuster is licensed by the state to handle a property insurance claim for the policyholder. We read the policy, document and price the damage, present the claim to your insurer and negotiate it. The adjuster your insurer sends works for the insurance company; we never do.
What kinds of claims do you handle?
Property damage claims on homes and commercial buildings: fire and smoke, burst pipes and other water damage, mold that follows water, wind, hail and storm damage, and fallen trees.
I’ve already filed my claim. Can you still help?
Often, yes. We review claims that are just starting, underway or already have an offer. Whether we can take yours on depends on your policy, the facts and any deadlines that apply.
What does it cost?
The review is free, and you are under no obligation to hire us. If you do, our fee is a percentage of the claim, agreed in writing before any work starts, and there are no up-front fees.
What should I have ready?
Nothing is required to start. If you have them, your policy, claim number, photos of the damage and any estimate or letter from your insurer help us give you a more specific answer.
Do you do repairs or cleanup?
No. We handle the insurance claim. Water extraction, board-up, cleanup and rebuilding are done by a restoration company or contractor.
